Business Analyst

Job Overview:
A Business Analyst (BA) plays a critical role in bridging the gap between business needs and technology solutions. They analyze business processes, gather requirements, and propose data-driven strategies that align with organizational goals. The BA works closely with stakeholders to ensure that solutions meet business objectives and add value to the company.

Key Responsibilities:
Gather, document, and analyze business requirements through interviews, workshops, and research.

Translate business needs into functional specifications for IT teams.

Evaluate business processes, identify areas for improvement, and propose optimized solutions.

Create process models, business requirement documents (BRDs), and use case diagrams.

Collaborate with stakeholders, developers, QA teams, and project managers.

Perform gap analysis, risk assessments, and cost-benefit analysis.

Assist in user acceptance testing (UAT) and ensure the final solution meets user expectations.

Monitor and report on project progress, outcomes, and performance metrics.

Provide training and support to end-users as necessary.

Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field.

Master’s degree (MBA or similar) is a plus.

2–5 years of experience in business analysis or a related field.

Certification in business analysis (e.g., CBAP, CCBA, PMI-PBA) is advantageous.
